Challenge
To work with a popular established student-led group who had no recognizable logo and disjointed branding. The lack of cohesion created confusion of what services the client provided and what the client represented.
Goal
To create a brand identity including a newly created logo to solidify the new branding for the client helping to provide clarity of what services the client offers.
Solution
The client brought forth the idea of modernizing the advertising for their new semester campaign by bringing in elements from the past in the form of a collage but creating a modern logo that would be juxtaposed to the collage element of the design.
I then created a collage that would interpret the catalog of films that they have access to while simultaneously creating a new logo that would have the modern aesthetic that they sought but the ease of recognition it would cultivate after the campaign. In creating the logo, I created a rule set for the logotype in order for the logo to be easily interpreted into other forms of media including but not limited to: printed assets, digital assets, and product/swag pieces. I also worked with a variety of vendors and printers to acquire the varying pieces of advertising/products needed for their new semester campaign.
